One of my favourite aspects of being a property bridging asset manager is the dynamic nature of the role. I enjoy going out to see properties and meeting people face-to-face. It allows me to gain firsthand insights into the assets I manage. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in the analytical aspect of the job — delving into cases, evaluating data, and making informed suggestions. It’s this combination of hands-on experience and analytical thinking that keeps my role exciting and fulfilling.
During my time at university, a teacher recommended that I explore a relatively new profession in Romania — property valuation. Intrigued by the prospect, I delved into the field and discovered a passion for assessing the value of properties. This recommendation not only opened a promising career path but also introduced me to the world of Property Finance. It’s a testament to the impact that guidance and mentorship can have on one’s professional journey, and I’ve been grateful for the recommendation ever since.
In my role as property bridging asset manager, I’ve found several skills to be vital. Foremost among them are analytical skills, as they enable me to dissect complex situations and assess data and information. Furthermore, strong numeracy skills are crucial, as they facilitate financial analysis. Uncovering details and nuances about every loan and leveraging my skills to analyse and understand these specifics, is what truly drives me. The satisfaction I derive comes from the process of meticulously navigating and comprehending the unique characteristics of each property and loan. It’s the pursuit of knowledge and the financial intricacies that fuel my passion in the field of Property Finance.
