500k Lake District – Term Loan

The Issue

A family company owned a freehold distribution depot from which it operated its freight delivery business. Although established for many years, recent events had caused losses to be incurred and this exacerbated the borrower’s bank’s decision to limit their credit facility.  The family needed to find another financial loan solution.

The Remedy

Advised and assisted by their external financial adviser a business plan was evolved comprising factoring of their turnover from a third party and a term loan provided and expedited swiftly from ALTERNATIVE Bridging Corporation. 

The Outcome

The lake district term loan was implemented and utilized to repay the bank overdraft and creditors and the surplus was made available for use as working capital.   We did explore the prospect of providing the family with a bridging loan, however, this did not provide them with an adequate period to re-establish their credit record.   The term loan, however, was perfect and provided the family with a robust financial solution that gave them the necessary time to do this prior to obtaining a long term mortgage. 

We have recently relaunched our ‘Term Loan’ product (Nov 2023) with absolutely NO Early Repayment Charges and a lower interest rate of 6.75% over BOEBR.
